1) MEDIA LITERACY - COMMERCIAL POWER!
This unique and creative workshop
explores the world of television commercials and the power of sights and sounds to communicate and sell ideas. Students critique,
analyze and create their own commercials around a variety of teacher-chosen topics. Programming meets the curriculum guidelines for
Media Literacy, Drama, Language Arts and/or Social Studies. Grades 4 - 8.
3 CLASSROOM SESSIONS of 1.5 Hours. Maximum
30 students per workshop. Follow-up activities provided.
SESSION DATES: To be arranged to meet the needs of the individual classroom.
Sessions are generally 1 week apart to give students and teachers time to prepare and do
follow-up activities.
FEES: $600 + $30 GST for 3 sessions for 1 class.
$500 + $25 GST for 3 sessions per class if 2 or more classes are booked in the same school.
Sessions must be offered to all classes on the same days.
Transportation Fees are applicable if the school location is more than 40 Kms. roundtrip
outside the GTA.
